CONVEYOR HEALTH SERVICES® APPLICATION

In the first instance we would suggest that based upon particular issues CHS record the relevant data sets, this may include MFL Scanning, Continuous or Static Radiography, Ultrasonic testing or thermography. Collate the data and present in a form that can be readily accessed and interrupted.

Secondly, undertake a thorough analysis of all data sets to highlight and detail specific issues.

Thirdly upon analysis of the facts present a plan to manage the assets in line with site requirements to effect satisfactory outcomes. This management of the asset may involve further monitoring or analysis or simply the replacement of products.

A client based in Indonesia had 20 + splices manufactured on site by an overseas service company. After a number of months the splices were seen to be degrading and of great concern to the client.

A client based in Eastern Europe could not keep on top of the damage sustained to its conveyor belt who on one or more occasions had carried out repairs to incorrectly identified areas. The result being extended downtime and loss of efficiencies.

A client based in PNG contacted CHS to look at and evaluate their particular conveying system. The client had experienced loss of efficiencies through extended downtime and reduced asset knowledge. Upon initial recording using Radiography and MFL.

A client based in Malaysia wanted an update on the overall condition of their wharf coal conveyors and required not only a carcass condition report be generated but also cover gauging and life predictions.
