CONVEYOR HEALTH SERVICES® SYSTEM
CHS® RECORD
At CHS we record all relevant data surrounding your conveying applications to access current condition and the occurrence of any issues that may impact the continued safe operation of your assets.
The technologies employed are varied and will specifically record those elements that have a direct connection to the issues at hand.
The recordings are stored and will be referenced for further evaluation as required to evaluate the ongoing condition of the assets and continued safe operational components over time.
CHS® ANALYSE
At CHS the data recorded against a particular asset are further analysed to highlight any / all irregularities. The analysis undertaken will detail trending issues and specific anomalies associated with a conveyors ability to perform as required. The analysis utilises our in-house diagnostic software that is capable of noting and quantifying all same set data streams. Further analysis will provide for targeted responses to particular issues and quantify all results that can be used to guide appropriate responses and actions.
CHS® MANAGE
At CHS, through the acquisition of quantifiable data sets and subsequent analysis, we can provide the tools that will allow a client to specifically target areas of concern or prioritise a number of issues that will directly impact on the serviceability of the life of the asset. Prioritisation will lead to more effective and efficient use of planned downtime / associated maintenance periods and drive down costs associated with unplanned/unscheduled loss of productivity whilst still providing for a safer environment in which the asset may operate. The management of the issues will directly impact costs and the bottom line.
CHS® APPLICATION
The application of the above CHS elements has provided clients with the ability to:
-
Obtain knowledge regarding a systems current condition.
-
Quantify those anomalies that have directly impacted on the operational requirements of a system.
-
Provide for historical data sets to evaluate running/trending conditions.
-
Prioritisation of anomalies in order to effect efficiencies through planned and targeted service.
-
Notification of anomalies that will directly impact on a systems ability to continue in service.
-
Provide reassurance that particular activities will not impact on the system’s ability to provide continued service.
CHS® CASE STUDIES
A client based in Indonesia had 20 + splices manufactured on site by an overseas service company. After a number of months the splices were seen to be degrading and of great concern to the client.
A client based in Eastern Europe could not keep on top of the damage sustained to its conveyor belt who on one or more occasions had carried out repairs to incorrectly identified areas. The result being extended downtime and loss of efficiencies.
A client based in PNG contacted CHS to look at and evaluate their particular conveying system. The client had experienced loss of efficiencies through extended downtime and reduced asset knowledge. Upon initial recording using Radiography and MFL.

A client based in Malaysia wanted an update on the overall condition of their wharf coal conveyors and required not only a carcass condition report be generated but also cover gauging and life predictions.
